¡IMPORTANT! Please read through our Policy and FAQs before booking a golf cart with us here at Book My Golf Cart, Isla Mujeres.
Here at Easy Cart rental, Isla Mujeres, we work with different companies, to make sure that you have an easy experience with great service, when booking your golf cart rental. We will help to find a golf cart for the days that you are interested in.
Once we have received your reservation request you can pay immediately to secure it with PayPal or via bank transfer. (Please note we need at least 24 hours notice if you are booking your golf cart rental online with us and paying upfront. Please do this 24 hours or more before your pick-up time.)
Driving a Golf Cart on Isla Mujeres. What are the rules?:
- All renters must have a valid Driver’s License, this will be held as a deposit until you return the Golf Cart.
- Before you take the Golf Cart from the rental company you will sign a rental agreement, read this carefully.
- NO drinking alcohol while driving. NO driving while under the influence of alcohol or other substances as drugs (there are often police check points).
- NO CONTRACT CANCELLATIONS ,NO RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS ( we can reschedule your reservation )
- Please abide by the rules of the road here on Isla Mujeres.
- The legal age to drive here in Mexico is 18 years old.
- The maximum capacity is 4 people on a 4-seater Golf Cart.
- If you rent a Large Golf Cart please do not carry people on the plastic box on the back, this is dangerous.
- The rental company is not responsible for any police tickets, if you receive one pay it quickly.
- Easy Cart Rental is not responsible for any theft, loss or damage.
- Please note that all of the carts are mechanical and are regularly maintained and checked. However, carts are sometimes used continuously, working without a rest which can result in the carts having some failures. If you should encounter a problem with your cart you must call us immediately on our emergency number, provided by the company when you receive and sign your contract.
What else do I need to know about driving a golf cart on Isla Mujeres?:
- Be aware of the one-way streets.
- When it rains heavily, there are sometimes large puddles and flooding. Avoid water and puddles on the road, when the engine gets wet the engine won’t start and it will take several hours to get this fixed.
- Please remember that a Easy Cart Rental is not a toy. It can not be used on all terrains. Please avoid sand, water, dirt, mud etc. A cleaning charge of $20 USD will be applied if the Golf Cart is returned in a bad condition.
How do I make sure my golf cart is secure when I am not using it?:
- Golf Carts must always be locked when not in use. Users are responsible if the vehicle is damaged, lost or stolen.
- Do not leave keys in the Golf Carts when it is parked.
- Look for parking signs, no parking in the yellow times at any time. We can provide a parking area map, as well as non-parking area maps so that there is no confusion.
- A $35 USD charge will be issued for unreturned locks, keys or chains.
What am I covered for when I rent a golf cart?
- You are covered for Medical, legal and 3rd party civil liability insurance. There is no insurance for golf cart damage.
- The insurance company will not pay if the driver or passengers are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The deductibles on the catastrophic insurance policy will be paid by the client.
How do I pick up my cart?
- We have 5 different pick up points downtown. We will confirm with you before your arrival where you will be collecting your Golf Cart from.
- Our HQ is at Hotel Cabañas María del Mar.
- Our pick up points are: Hotel Cabañas María del Mar, Villa Kin, Hotel Rocamar, Hotel Secreto and Hotel Media Luna and more.
- Hotel Rocamar is the closest to the ferry terminal.

Returning my Golf Cart to the Rental Company:
- After 10 minutes of delay a 1 hour charge will apply to your rental.
- If you decide to return your golf cart early, there is no refund for any unused time or early return.
How can I pay? (Zelle , Visa or Master card)
- Once you have made your reservation request , pay with ZELLE as quick as possible (we will hold your reservation for 2 hrs only ) then we will send you an email with a confirmation Number as soon as we received your Zelle payment. ( please write down Zelle account NAME in the form. Is easier to identify your payment )
- No Zelle's fees
- if you pay with a credit card your confirmation Number will be sent right away.
- Please note that FEES for Credit Cards will be added.
Business Hours:
- Our pick up times are seasonal.
- High Season (December 22nd – August 31st) pick up times 9am OR 5pm.
- Low Season (September 1st – Dec 21st) pick up times 9am – 5pm.
- 7:30am – 10pm, Monday to Sunday are our business hours at Hotel Cabañas Maria del Mar.
